SERVING TIPS
Always store Heidrun sparkling meads standing upright (to avoid prolonged contact between the mead and the cork) in a cool, dark, quiet place.
To Serve: Chill bottles (in the upright position) to 4°C (40°F). Remove cork cautiously and gently pour mead into fluted sparkling-wine glasses, or a traditional mazer or horn. Pour to side of glass to reduce foaming.
Bottle fermented varietals should not be agitated prior to opening unless you desire a cloudy pour. Allow settling time after shipping or other transport. |
