I wanted to drop a note of thanks to you. Mead is a rare delicacy here in Texas, let alone the fine sparkling mead in the style Heidrun produces.
I've sampled all of the sparkling meads you've had in stock at this point, and while it is hard to pick a favorite if I had to pick, it would be the California Star Thistle.
Without exception, everyone I've served these sparkling meads to has thoroughly enjoyed them. In the summer heat, these sparkling meads are light, refreshing and a fantastic alternative to beer or wine. They mate well with grilled foods, vegetables, fruit and certain pasta dishes - they're also wonderful to drink just by themselves.
Across the board, my experience with you guys has been great. The on-line ordering process, attention to detail in packaging and shipping, and feedback from your team has all been professional and positive.
I've been in the wine import and distribution business since 2001, and I am now in the process of branching out into the production side vis-a-vis a new distillery operation. I know first hand that this business can be challenging on a number of fronts, especially for small producers. You guys are outstanding, offering a wonderful product, great customer service, and something unique to the market. I just received my most recent case order, and put in another to add to my cellar. Hi Gordon.
We just wanted to thank you for our recent order of your mead. It was a big hit at our summer solstice party, adding to ambience of a traditional seasonal celebration. And we polished off the remaining few bottles at a fourth of july barbecue. Our friends really enjoyed this unique beverage, and some have even asked to be included next time we place an order.

My daughter's wedding, Saturday, on the Balclutha was a wonderful event.
This was made all the more memorable by your Nevada Alfalfa Mead.
What we know is that, after the wedding toast, the barman noted he had 18 bottles of the 30 ordered left. Scarcely an hour later, all of the mead was gone [except 2 bottles put in the bride and groom's luggage] because the wedding guests had demanded refills - some several times.
Almost without exception, the 100 or so members of the wedding party were delighted with Heidrun's Nevada Alfalfa Sparkling Mead, some savoring it long into the night on the deck of the Balclutha on San Francisco Bay.
Thank you again for your gracious hospitality and your great product.

Enclosed are photos we made of your product while visiting Norway. We carried several bottles there to celebrate my cousin's 70 th birthday. We were at the village of Laxo, just outside of the town of Nordfold. It is due east of the southern tip of the Lofoten Islands, north of Bodo, and above the arctic circle.
It was a pleasure to return your product to its source!

Greetings, I've recently moved to the Willamette Valley after living in Trinity County. While in your beautiful region I was lucky enough to enjoy your outstanding sparkling mead, which I would purchase at the co-op. I've worked in the winemaking and brewing trades for ten years or so and have tasted countless fermented beverages. I tip my glass to you. You are creating incredible wines!!

Hi All!
First, I just wanted to thank you guys for the HANDWRITTEN postcard I received from you after ordering mead! You don't get that kind of thing happening all the time! The mead was wonderful! We not only plan to enjoy your mead in the new year, we rang in 2001 with it! The 2 bottles we had went in no time with people asking us when we were getting more. Unfortunately we live in Georgia where we cannot order from you. I hand carried our precious cargo back to Georgia for our New Year's celebration.

Bought 2 bottles at Wildberries while up there visiting during Thanksgiving holiday this year. Had bottle of Shively [Spring Bloom] on Xmas eve and all 4 best friends loved it! . Quite astonishing mead and webpage. Will be ordering or get best friend to order case soon for Southern CA faire season!

.We then adjourned to the back lawn where we were treated to a menu prepared by Peter Halikas, executive chef for Dean and Deluca, in which he paired the honey with preparations that really highlighted the wonderful diversity of the honey. No easy task, as honey being such a sweet product can really overwhelm subtle flavors. We paired this menu with with several wines and Heidrun Sparkling Mead. If you have a chance to try this mead, I highly recommend it. It is light, crisp and very refreshing on a warm day.
